you guys are all missing the point here.... yes we know there are heaps of girls that would ride in a convertible and that might be a point of potential hookup but i really do reccomend this guy the euro manual...You really want a convertible that bad? than go for it. You will regret wasting 40 k on it. Buy a euro, its a great car long term and is sporty, fast as v6. s2000 seems to be a waste of money when compared to the euro though. Just my opinion. Or is you like you can get the integra type S.

It's not as fast as all V6's and it's no where near the quality of Mercedes, I assure you that. I went to test a C180K before getting the Euro, and I can tell you that the Merc (and even Audi) build cars like a tank. No wind noise on freeway, absolute comfort (like sitting on your favourite couch) and pure style. Sorry to say, those cars are in a class of it's own in terms of luxury. However, the Euro wins on features and has above average comfort for an excellent price.

Faiz you are trying to force your opinion on the lad a bit much there! :P Remember mate you must decide what is right in your situation. As many have said both cars serve different needs. S2k is an absolutely awesome convertible NA beast, whilst the euro just oozes class. Whatever you choose though, you have made a wise choice. Both cars are gorgeous :)

Really how many 40 k cars have heated seats?? stability control, traction control??? The level of equipment in the euro is compareable to a bmw or a lexus. May be not mercedes or audi but you get the point. Its good value for money. By all means if i were to get a car between those two, i would get euro manual, i do regret why i got the auto euro because the manual euro is very quicker nearly 3 seconds. Not saying the auto is slow, its as fast as camry v6 auto, passat v6 auto, mitsubishi v6 auto. Euto is good value for money especially when you compare it to a s2000. Yes s2000 is has more power etc but i would never buy a second hand old one. May be its just my opinion. If you really want a sporty car that bad, get the type S.

Though you might think merc has good build quality, I have to disagree...The C class is made in South Africa and the fit and finish just isn't as good as the previous generation. However I do concede that the Audi has good quality. However, the TSX(Euro) was designed to compete in the segment of near luxury cars ie 3 series, c class base models, and it is built in Japan for the European market as well as USDM and JDM, I think a lot of effort has gone into this car...

When I compare the C180K and the Euro Luxury I find the equipment levels similar, and what's more, the Euro betters the C180K in offering a sunroof and heated seats + hids as standard in the luxury model for much less. What Mercedes has is class kudos and style, but I would not go so far as to say that the quality of the euro is "No where" near the quality of a merc c180k, I know because I nearly bought 1...


Also, CONAN(is that frm detective conan??), I reckon the choice you have to make about the cars is not a hard choice, they are 2 totally different classes of cars altogether, most ppl would be deciding between an S2k and an MX5 or an euro and a liberty... You'd be happy with either, but in the long run an euro would be less painful to own as you will have less hassles and inconveniences of a small convertible.. Sure it will be nice to own it but how long before you get over it? (probably 6 mths)...
