I also checked an '05 Euro Luxury out today at the dealership. I can confirm that those 17" rims above are the ones that come on the Aussie model, however it is not lowered at all from the '04 model. The picture above looks a little lowered. The actual car being sold is not that low. You could fit a chicken under that wheel arch! But overall it looks alot more in proportion with the 17" wheels compared to the 16" wheels on the '04.
Here are some shots of the full sized spare in my standard 05 euro. I think the foam spacer is the only difference...haven't seen earlier model to compare with. Other than this, I dont think there are any other changes in this model.
Anyway...cars been in the garage for an hour....need to go for another drive!! :D

Thanks for the pics. If only the Euro came with full size spares from the start. I reckon it would have won wheels car of the year instead of the RX8.
Can you confirm if the 05 has illuminated steering wheel controls and what other changes there are?

My cousin picked up a silver 05 euro lux c/w kit + wing.
The tyres are bridgestone re040's ... didnt catch the size (sorry)
He says the stereo controls do light up, but i didnt manage to see them (sorry)
mP3 player is still optional, not standard.
