Get ready to lighten that wallet.
Seriously, have you checked the fluid in the master cylinder? Is it low? Is it black?

it is black ill take a photo! pretty low, is it just a matter of changing the break fluid, bleed etc. i think their might be air inside...
heres the picture. fluid is pretty low... is this the issue. its under the metal thing. http://oi46.tinypic.com/30kttz4.jpg
yeahhh i remember how my car felt before both master and slave cyclinder...
i remember my clutch pedal is feeling normal, but at times i couldnt engaged into gear...
when my car is in a stand still, and i try to get it to gear one... it wouldnt engage and it was the same for reverse... i sometime just stalled the car just so i could get it back to into gear while the car was off.
then one day, i got home, packed in the driveway and blocked both my parents and sister's car. They all needed to go, so I got in, step on my clutch and turn my car on. (i got to clutch start with my car)
and while doing that i heard a loud snap/crack! and game over!!
You guys need to trade your cars in on automatic Hyundais.
Either that or contribute to my alcohol problem.
LOL wayne
That's 'Aus'.
Or 'Sir'
SLOBRO. Apt name.
Probably best to leave the advice to those that have a clue what they are talking about.
If one of the symptoms is trouble putting it into gear the issue isn't an old clutch. The problem is hydraulics.
Op ,
This is a common problem with many 00+ Hondas - s2ks and ep3/dc5's all seem to have failing master and slave cylinders.
One things for sure - they often fail after the other has been replaced - so replace BOTH at the same time.
my mechanic came to and he fixed it up somehow. bleed the system with new fluid. but he told me i can drive for a few months, then have a cmc ready on the side so if it happens he can install it straight away. thanks for the help boys!
You can replace the CMC and CSC with new OEM, secondhand, third party or even rebuild.
But if you want to really save money and effort, try servicing it every once in a while.
