Had a go at this with an d16a cover and normal paint - came out very nice - initally, going to try with wrinkle paint. I painted mine white and like i said initially was very good - didn't take long to become very dirty. Serves me right for colour choice. Your average paint stripper from supercheap etc. works very well, takes a few coats and about half a day if the cover is older, well that's what i found. Good luck pax!!
what will happen if I paint over the stock cam cover ?? will it stick??? coz i like the wrinkle effect but cant find any vht wrinkle paint other than black...

Got the paint from Autopro here in Canberra, they had to order it in as they only had black in stock.
it looks very nice...
