can civic b16a internals run toda c's at 9k?
with the right internals a b16a civic hatch will have no probs with type r's or s2k's, Loonee's yellow EK is a perfect example of that
The thing is CAN C CAM RUN WITH STAND PISTONS ? toda pistons required i saw the web site.Quote:

Boost is your next option
i dont know off the top of my head but i'd say itwas pretty similar to the list adrian put up. i'll ask my mechanic that built the engine, otherwise u can ask loonee himself;)Quote:

You can but you will never get the power out of the camQuote:

type r cams, value springs, retainers, port and polish head
up compression to r spec
would my output be same as r?
no. believe it or not, displacement actually counts for something:rolleyes: also, the b16 intake manifold is better suited to the b16 then the type r item
A stock R maybe! But an ITR with same mods as you and the right tuning will allways be ahead of you in power :SQuote:

Power wise you already have a head that flows comparably well compared to the R's. Your main weakness is your lack of displacement.
I would recomend you source a second hand R block, mate that to your head and drop some CTR/ITR cams with ITR valve train, Tune with Hondata and you'll beat R's daily and twice on Sunday.
Sorry about the rant.
