does anyone have a sound clip of a single exhaust for the euro?
I find it really funny that so many people with single exhausts modify them to dual, and now that a lot more cars have dual exhausts standard, people are modifying them to singles!
When it comes to exhaust, personally I don't give a rats about how unique it is! I care primarily about sound (tinny fart sounds are out), and then the other considerations are power and dollars. If a bolt-on won't do it, go custom. I would probably go for a custom pipe with brand mufflers.
However, I would ask someone (like an exhaust shop) who modifies and hears different exhausts all the time and can give you a better opion about what would work best for what YOU want. Don't necessarily go with what other people THINK is good because what they like isn't necessarily going to be what you're going to like...
where can get the muffler/exhaust for accord euro 05 in Sydney.
thx alot
Depends on what you want.. You want ready made ones? If so, contact your local performance parts supplier or OzHonda Traders in here..Quote:

Which do you introduce to me?
These are my experiences with exhaust and the outcome of different setup on my 2004 euro manual.
I found that fitting stainless steel cat back running no resonators with dual "autotechnica" muffler gave quite reasonable performance. i managed to gain almost 19kw at the wheels with a custom pod filter and VAFC2. Dyno tuned it at "REVZONE" and they were quite impressed with my backyard job (ie. my friend helped me put some pipes together with a tig weld)
the pros and cons:
pros:  # it only cost me $390 for pipes (and a slab of beer for my friend)
# we had alotta fun and since it was going to cost penuts for parts and labour i thought i would try a few different setups.
# fantastic above from 5000rpm in second and into third and fourth
# makes a nice deep burble note at idle and screams once it hits the vtec
# gives a tuff look and i was ready to take on VTECS best (hehehe)
cons: :thumbdwn:
# OMG so muchhhhhh noise from a supposedly "luxury" sports car
# makes no difference in day to day commuting. in terms of performance
# felt like an idiot just trying to drive normal
# attracts too much UNwanted attention
# wouldnt do it again.
We then pulled off all the pipes and fitted resonators. It was much quieter and didnt drone. However in terms of performace there was only a slight difference. Wasnt worth all the noise for only minimal difference in performance.
Current setup: One resonator and standard OEM mufflers. running 2.5inch stainless steel. Basically back to square one!!!!
I dont think i would have wasted my time and money doing all of this if i didnt get to pull up my sleeve. To do all this custom work and then find that your not happy is something most of us can relate too. For those of you that would say "thats why you go to the experts to have it done" True to an extent. Even your "midas" "mr muffler" etc etc people do custom work on trial and error (unless its a VL TURBO mateeee) . At the end of the day in MY OPINON i think the best exhaust are those they are model specific. They fit better and obviously have been researched and developed. The R&D departments of these aftermarket companies would have done hours of work to get the right results for their customers cars. Honda Accord Euro are relatively new in the car world. Its been a couple years since its release and its only now that simple things such as CAI are available. It takes years before performance parts are made mainstream. Just look at the little civics (EG EK etc etc). Its only recently that we are starting to see these little hatchbacks/coupes turn into little bull terriers!! Because most parts are shelf stocked.
I got to meet "peekay88". From memory he has a fujitsubu exhaust. i was quite impressed with that setup. The sound is deep and not too loud. It also looks very impressive too!!!
NO matter what anyone says i believe to get the most extreme performance out of any car you will result with alot of noise. Just take a look at all the race cars of the world. Has anyone heard of a quiet F1 car or race car.
Moral of this story:
greatest performance = loudest exhaust noise
great performance = loud exhaust noise
great performance + quiet exhaust = VERY $$$$
lastly i wanna say Hello to all of those people i met on the VIC EURO meet.
hopefully we can meet again soon. i guess when PeeKay comes back from his "tsx tour" hehehe. and yfin who i think is in adelaide???? well take care all and see you soon.
im still waiting on my luckystar bodykit. hopefully i will have some pics soon for a post. getting quite anxious now was meant to arrive 2 weeks ago!!!!
