who cares.
The CRX is marketed as a Honda Sports car.
The Civic is marketed as a family / hair dressers car.
However, there are performance varieties of the civic which can be defined as Sports etc or hot hatches. I.e. EK4 and EK9
At the end of the day, both cars are almost exactly the same so the biggest factor is driver ability than a few kgs here and there. :cool:
funny people categorise civics as family cars... just because they have a family car segment doesn't mean shite all... what chassis/build do you think the CRX came from??
CR-X ie civic racing experiment? but yeah i agree who cares? who cares that the every tuning house in japan runs an EK9 or EG6 as one of their track cars... don't see many CRXs around... when in doubt look to the source... and that ain't the yanks.
Top fuel have made a project Del sol. EF, Eg and Ek civic
respect to the EF!!!!!
An EF tuned JDM style would be hot !!! soo much better then a del sol or ek!!!

Bah... who cares, they are all nice cars. I actually like the styling of Gen 3 CRX, especially with kits.
All three cars that initially where being compared at the start of the thread are great cars and you just really need to weigh what you really want out of a car and go from there.
THERE IS NO REASON YOU CAN'T HAVE FUN IN A DEL SOL OR EM1 ON THE TRACK!!!!
My preference is EK4 out of the three and I will be passionate about discussing why. Please..... don't take my comments as elitist, cause like I said.... all 3 cars have their place. :thumbsup:

you guys are talking about tracking a del sol.... del sol's were never designed to be tracked, it doesnt take a genius to see that. they're just a nice girly road car;)
bongers just have a think about how you will use the car and if/how you plan to mod it. if you need back seats obviously the del sol is outta the picture, you prolly would choose a civic over it too if you wanted something to track (i'm not saying you can't track a del slow, just saying the civics are more suited to it) on the other hand the del sol has the chick attaction and funky targa roof factor.
just think of simple things like that when you make your choice.
chick attraction overweighs everything.. :p
