Tinted tail light

I just wondering is tinted tail light is illegal? because.. i just got pulled by police.. even though i didnt tinted my reverse and my side indicator light.. only brake..

they said.. "tinted tail light is illegal.. and i got $150 fine -.-"

i do heard that some area's cops are much more stricted than some other area....

so yesterday after i pulled by the police.. when i go home.. i look at the Night Shades Can Spray and clearly it said "For Off road use only"

u dun look at the can... of cos they would write that... if not, like wat happen to u, u can sue them... best is to check with the authority itself (find any written info)... cos some cops fine ppl when they wish, make up any law themselves cos they think they are the laws...

also nowadays there are a lot of services to help fight against any unfair charges or fines laid against us.... tinted are illegals yet some car comes with standard taillight tint.... of cos from factory then its ok (wats the difference besides just showing authority???)....

all i can say is u r not in the luck.... also, how dark is ur tint anyway??? i ve been pulled over by cops before, saying aftermarket pedals, momo steering wheel, tinted windows (tinted by Honda) are all illegal....
