Excuse my ignorance but what does an Apexi SRI do? So you're planning to fabricate your own box from plastic? Wouldn't that cost more than just buying the comptech one?

u can remove the front left bumper cover .. tis increases the cold air low

if ure in australia is not a problem but if ure like me in singapore .. u better watch out when driving thru flood waters ... cos it rains like shit here

It's a pod filter that has an adapter that is made for your particular model. Usually it reuses the stock intake arm. So it is a poor man's SRI, without the nice metal tube.

I'm going to diy the box from sheet metal. It's going to be dodgy, so when I show it to you all in a month or 2, remember to laugh!

Or if you are driving to the airport in sydney. Damn water is about 10cm deep and WILL hydrolock your engine.

I see. I really don't want to cut some holes in the fog light cover because I don't want any chance of water getting in my engine.

:P Resonator removed from my engine bay, gain 3hp... NOW i can hear V-TEC yo !! THANKS TO AARON, spend around 2hours doing it. Since my was a 06, so had to remove bumper.
Now waiting on my Comptech Icebox to come, SWEET~!!!

guys .. can u tell me the size of the bulbs at the back for the 2 lights .. one is the small one .. the other .. is a bigger one!! i need to knw the industry standards for them .. cos my manual is in Japanese .. cos mine is a JDM model ..

can some kind sole .. refer to ure english manual and let me know .. PLEASE!!!

I too am looking at getting a comptech Ice Box sorry if this sounds silly but how will i get enough airflow going if I have Front Fog lights. Where would I position the hose/pipe ?

for me, not sure about other people.
i have a 06 euro... super dooper happy about it. mine's luxury, so it has fog light. i don't think it is a problem at all. :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup:
