I got defected once.. in melbourne.. car too low.. oversize rims (it was 18").. even the power cable for amp!!! if you modify your car.. you'll just have accept the fact that they can find any reason to give you defect paper.. "they are just doing their job"
i put up the mod laws somewhere, it has the rim and tyre rules in it, search for that
it isnt 2 inchs tho, its a maximum of 25mm increase in width and total diameter must alter more than 5mm, pretty sure that was bout it, check my modlaw post says it all in there
(been sitting on 20's for half a year and have had no problems, my stocks where 16)
yeh strugglin to find suspension for it atm, cant quite afford air-runners, and cant find any springs just to make do till i can afford them. Never had any issues with this car n cops ever. the local cops new my old car, pulled me over on average 2-3 times a week in my widebody s14a. but since swapping, no issues at all
i think most police dont do us VIP cars, simply for the fact that we aren't street racing stereotypes. we dont drive high powered, vehicles, and we dont drive carelessly. thats the general thought process i'm lead to believe.
