I have also heard from few people regretting buying mini.
I think they are extremely overpriced too.

the other day was driving company's BA and some middle aged tosser in the current model Cooper S tried racing me, off the lights the BA is a slug so the mini got slightly ahead but by 50kays the BA just hauled its heavy ass pass the mini, then at 80km/h he pulls up again, all i do is just floor it and let the auto do it all for me and mini starts slowly to appear in the rear mirror
Don't get me started with the 5 pages long list of problems I've had with my EK...not just BMW fuk things up, funny enough Honda do too :) For that matter Mercs go all fuk up too as well.
now thats an interesting comment.
that honestly is the first time i've heard of any unreliability issues with the EK civic, and I know quite EK owners too, including myself.
Probably a mixture of bad luck/fussy bastard mentality/sign those cars off too quickly when I picked them up. Half the problems on the EK should have been picked up at the delivery and the other half of the stuff are mechanical and popped up within the first 1000 kays. That dealer regrets having sold me the car as I got just about every imaginable government departments involved.
Ever seen a flooded EK? Sure as hell I have.
i've been trying to post a write-up of the facelift jaz but i keep getting errors from the forum.
anyway, below is the link:

i bought mine from trivett in parra.. the salesman there was a pretty cool bloke..
had a few stories up his sleeve too.. and some hairy moments...
its just that trivett in parra is a bit far and not close to the station (gotta go to work in the city each morning)
