thats cos they are treasured and not sold
i've had my type R (02 model - bought end of 01) car for 6 years 2 months and its only done 56500k's

My 00 DC2R = 89,000km
My Gfs 01 DC2R = 22,000km

in the first 3months i racked 10KK driving round. i enjoy driving it...i figured what good is it sitting in the garage all the time. vtec!~~~~

the speedo's are easy to wind back so make sure you check thoroughly b4 buying anything like that.
but no one would be stupid enough to wind it back that much i don't think
