you know how you used that white stuff to stick the arm rest back on the door... it looks messy?
what we did was plastic weld it back on.. we kept them donut things that we chopped off and then used a soldering iron to plastic weld.
looks less messy.. but hey
good write up! works both ways.. cant see the inside of the trim anyways! good job.
sick write up
Thanks heaps for the write up. I followed it and it looks fantastic!
thanks guy, the white stuff is megapoxy, its used to stick granite/marble onto bench tops etc, i was actually thinking of melting the plastics on to but was too scared it would break through the holes after a period of force on the armrest hehehe. but yeh, just as long as the armrest holds should be fine.
my turn to do this after exams! wanna give me a hand my simon?!
btw did spot light have blue suede?
lol, wats in it for me? haha. if you get stuck along the way il help you, but quite easy. the only hard part i found was a screw that wouldnt come off which i had to drill into.
i think lindcraft had blue, also black and grey.
if no luck there try the fabric shops in cabrra, suprisingly they had alot more suede.
nice job :D
spotlight has a red 'cord' like material, has blue, purple and black suade.
Couldnt find any red suade. The other store not spotlight, cant remember the name but theres one in Castle Towers...Lincraft?? has a bright red/orangey tomato colored suade.
