Accord euro or sportivo?

At the moment I have both a Sportivo and Euro 09. The Sportivo is a fantastic car for what it is. And VVTL-i is very adictive. The power rises dramatically at 6200rpm when the valves lift. The Honda really is a different car and I would campare it more to the wife's Grande Camry.

The South African built Sportivo (there was only around 3000 imported)definitely has a 60 litre tank as well. I usually achieve 550 to 600 k's per tank. Based on the fuel use computer in the Honda I don't think I will achieve the same but then the Honda is not a 1.8 litre and it still needs to run in.

The Sportivo is a fast car (again for an NA 1.8l) but you need to know how to drive it as if you come off lift between gears you will be slow.

I need to get off my butt and sell the Sportivo but it is the only car I have ever had that has attached itself to me that I really don't want to see it go.

So could I beat myself driving the Honda in the Sportivo. Well yes every time but then again I did buy an auto Euro. Which car would I pick to drive any distance over 100k's - the Honda everytime.

ah yh not as often as u used to use lift, wen i drive it ill hit v tec here and there but not much, im just heavy on the accelerator i wish i wasnt i kills petrol its a bad habit, not actually speed but just heavy if u know watta mean lol

yeah very tru, if u do not change gears properly u will either crunch or get out of lift, u haven to drive shift and stay in lift then it goes hard hehe. i agree if u wanna drive for FUN the sportivo BUT the EURO is a more all rounder, luxury relaxing, still has v tec sunroof etc, as silly as it sounds a sunroof was very important to me lol thats 1 massive downside to the sportivo, although their r so going around with them which i rate

ufortunately also for the sportivo is that the resale value has dropped quite a bit. not entirely sure why the resale value has dropped so much for a decent car

incorrect, yes they have dropped but to be honest accord euro is alot worse because their are so many of them, i boguht my car and sold it 1 year later for an extra thousand, were as my euro i know it will depreciate alot more especially cause of that new 1

i'd be scared to buy one that cheap...

yeh too bad CL9 is too common.
hence why i will drive til it dies, and then maybe engine swap a K20A in and boost it up later if my other half doesn't slaughter me first. hehehe

yeah same, will drive it until it really old and dies.

daz you get good kms out of a full tank cause you work early when theres no traffic dont you?

hahaha i still get stuck in traffic and i rev the car alot.
and i go to uni at lunchtime so get stuck in the city as well and get stuck in peak hour on princes highway on the way home..
weekends i go to city for dinner + drive to sisters place out west.

hit vtec about 3times a week as petrol is not cheap, money doesn't grow on trees.
