hope u dont feel bad but im almost finished my turbo installation and its only been 2 days lol. get that teg of yours on da road man hehe
ive learnt a lot from reading this thread, whoa you could write this drama into a daytime tv show :D
this whole thread is ****ing blue balls
is this guy and his integra still alive..doesnt seem like it
maybe he picked his car up yesterday/today ?
and is taking it for a spin and having so much fun he doesn't have time for OH ??
ever thought of that ?
*waiting*
Lol, i reckon. I did my turbo conversion in under 3 days. And that's 3 lazy days.Quote:

to gsi-psi and barefootbonzai, im very happy that yous were able to do it all in 3 days, but i dont have the time, or the knowledge to b pullin this sorta shit outta my ass :D
its redy for pickup except i had to go down to the gong for a mates 21st
i shall b goin down this comin weekend to pick it up,
so ill b at the wakefield meet on monday, 4th july.
I think the point wasn't that they did it in 3 days... but that if they, by themselves, as amatures, can do it in three days, why is it taking a shop full of so called professionals so damn long

hmmmm.....wakefield??? you think it's wise to take that down there? I mean the setup is new so its best to run in the motor and everything first before giving it a hard fang at wakefield. unless you planing to do a couple of 1000 km's before than.Quote:

Still damn waiting for pic bro!!!!
i think most of the time has been spent on waitin for parts .. so thats y the long wait....
and Qball is not goin to take it hard on track la..... just goin easy for a bit of fun .. so i guess it ll be alrite...
the engine is already tuned? it didnt have to get run in?
i drove past the shop after work...still there
maybe hes not tracking it... just goin for the scenic cruise... run in the car.. show us the set up.. am i right?? cause i dont think its wise you take it too.. get use to it cause im sure it doesnt go and handle like it use too... ;)
Well i read through like 16 pages and thought stuff it ill go to the end and see the finished product.
WTF NOT FINISHED ?!?! :(
Hopefully it turns out all ok :)
yeh i understand where all of yous are coming from, and believe me, the guy knows how pissed off i am that its taken soo long.
im in total agreeance with yas there.
nicks rite in sayin that ive been waitin for parts for the majority of the time, n as stated b4 - i have expressed my frustration to the mechanic.
he has promised me that its redy this weekend unless of course something ****s up...touch wood.
n yeh, wakefield day im jst gona take it easy, get used to the new clutch n jst have a good time hearing her pssst hehe
up for a few fotos too :)
cheers fellas
Personally Q........i wouldn't take it to wakefield. I would drive it around and give it a bit here and there. Then whene everything is OK, take it to wakefield. Getting a tiltray from wakefield back to wollongog/Sydney is not cheap!
i think he should run in the engine probably first before even giving it like that!!! but yeah it's his car , so his call
must be frustrating man. Mate just go 4 heaps of cruises till u clock up about 1000 km then give it the fang lol. youll be alright. just dont get tempted 2 give it 2 it 2 much as ya runnin it in.
yous wouldnt advise on takin it jst to drive it round semi-normally?
im not gona b hittin at all - prob jst enuf to get the blood goin a bit but nuthin over say 5-6k i think...or is that too much??
i dunno...
drive normally its should be ok but just try not to red line it for at least 2000km's
hey dont pussy foot it but dont rev it to 7k. drive it normal and giv it a lil bit cos its all in the running in process that counts. Its fact that 2 of the same cars outa the factory being run in. 1 being driven normal with a bit of pushing and the other being granny driven proved that the 1 that was pushed was more powerful. Like i said b4 tho, no redlining tho.
i believ me rev limiter is being shifted towards 8500-9000 so yeh...
i dont plan on pushin it past 6
thats ok then
hey q, i skimmed through the thread again but i didnt see any mention of the engine getting rebuilt.. was it rebuilt or not?
turbo b18 ha? hmm i was thinking of doing that got 3 quotes with t04 turbo and internals changed plus sleeving the block, all 3 quotes were $12000 - $18000,i thought hard and thought its not worth it ,il rather save up and get a S2000 less headache, good luck with the job
Hay Quinton sooo ya got ya car yet?Fukk im guessn u would b soo frustratd by now!its been n felt lyk ages!neways good luck hope ya get it soon n holla @ me wen ya get it bak n we can go 4 a cruize!;)
yeh mate, the whole block is gettin rebuilt so it will b safe to run high boostQuote:

new engine = must be broken in before high revs/high load
turbo = must be tuned at high revs/high load
so your either having a car that hasn't been broken in properly being taken to high revs/load, or you have an untuned engine...
ill address this with him...i have actually been thinking bout this so ill let yas kno wats goin...
geeez is this thing still going??? Q ball i think u should call guiness book of world records for the longest running ozhonda thread :D
jst checked with the mechanic, and he says that it will b redy either tues or wednesday next week cause the guy thats doin the dyno is currently upgrading his 4wd dyno or sumthin...
I CANT FARKN WIN!!!!
the suicide blade sounds good...:(
i was soo keen to take it to wakefield as well!
just put on a green mask, a green suit, and go shove an exhaust up his ass (the mask ;) )
man that sux... i was lookin forward to hearin about it now i gotta wait..
Hully

Gball i saw ur car today, the guy was checking the turbo and finalising things i think, he was doin 200 down my road followed by 4 sirens and a helicopter.
p.s he had 4 drunk b**hes in the car with him.

whats happening uleh with the turbo.
Lol fellas its Q ball not G ball hahahaha
bahahaha....Gball far out how long does it take to install a durboo brah ~
>>>>>THE NEVER ENDING TURBO CONVERSION <<<<
This Is Fkin Ridiculous Lol~!
he is fine tuning the turbine edges....
sharp enough to chop fruit..
it would be worth the wait dude...
The longer u wait the more u would enjoy..
He is just teasing u...
The last pics they i saw the this was almost complete without internals..(correct me if im wrong)
Did something go wrong?
I'm starting to think the question should be "did anything go right?"Quote:
