36 cold
I use to be getting 480KM a full tank with vortex 98RON
now recently, even after 160.000km service with oil filter changes and running motul fluids im getting a shy 410KM a tank when light turns on
I've tried most other fuels including VPOWER and BP Ultimate but Vortex gives me the most
Car: DC2R
Kms: 1600000km
Mods: Pretty much stock standard, JDM headers + cat, pod inake but stock airbox
driving habits the same, I rarely give it any fangs.
the only difference is that i've purchased a daily so the car isn't driven as much as it use to be, does a full tank in around 3 weeks compared to when I use to fill up every week with it
any ideas guys?
tyre pressures always right :)
400 km ek with b18c2 i fill up around 33 - 34 liters how much is left?
same engine id think it was relevant when talking bout L/100 km. Douchebags
Used Bp Ultimate and no difference from the 91 I filled up with. Still got around the same ~400km limit, with the oocasional vtec pulls..
450kms min with i/h/e no freeway driving. this was back when i had my licence like a year ago
Well i had one of my better weeks, fuel economy wise:
DC2R
BP Ultimate
Travelled 457km and filled up 37.19L = 8.1L/100km.
City driving, was at 1/8th of a tank too, not completely empty :)
Only real difference i can think of to other weeks was some injector cleaner.
Okay.. so ive noticed here that alot of you guys are getting 350-450km.. some even 500km!!!!
my 94 Vtir only gets 250km-275km MAX! does anybody know why? and how i can fix it? ive been told a simple injector clean (with the solution you pour in your tank) will help with that and also increase throttle response.. does anyone recommend anything or know why my kms are so low??!!
That you know of. ;) haha
i'm getting at about 400-550kms depending on the amount of highway driving i do. about 3/5 of mine is highway for awhiel but seems not too bad. miss driving my car though :(..
Also with the guy on top with 250kms a tank, try a full minor service and include changing your fuel filter or if fussy the fuel pump. Could be clogged or something. Can easily increase your kms but cleaning injefctors might help too :P
250k if im not vtecing
470 to 500kms from BP98. I was getting 450 max from Shell Vpower. Vpower is dead to me.
lol no leaks paul
just itbs...
trip meter said 380kms
filled up 44lts of bp ultimate
bowser didnt click out yet
had to stop cos i only had $70 on me
i get around 700km a tank vtekin it everywhere , but thats probably because i have a 100L tank,
How do u have a 100L tank? And if u do that's shit economy
350-400kms average, 450 if i wanna push it but rather not get stuck somewhere.
Light comes up on 350kms on my integra vti-r filling bp ultimate all the time.
LAst fuel batch of Ultimate got me 350km with heavy VTEC, 8600rpm shifts, full throttle, heavy city driving.
ouch. lol. poor car.
Dc2R 440Km from 45L
i changed my fuel filter last week after 95,000kms/just under 5 years, will be interested as to what fuel economy i get now, will take a few weeks before i need to fill up tho
I noticed after being tuned it ran alot more efficient
Just bolt on and tune
DA9 (B18A1) run on BP Ultimate or Shell V-Power.
I average around 450km per tank depending on where/how I drive.
When I refill it takes around 39 to 40 litres.
Dc2/b18c2 got 440km out of the tank.
With a squirt here and there
Bp ultimate ftw!
I get between 350 and 400 with Shell V Power... however I know I'm running really rich (I/H/E without a tune)..
Whenever I back-off the accelerator I hear popping, every-time!!
DC5R - Average about 10.5L/100kms
i fill up once a week, rarely let it hit reserves. daily driver to work/uni and home, peak hour traffic fun.
15kms out of a full tank
515 - 518 kms off of a full tank from my EG B18C7
filled up 24th Aug
584km's on 41.24 ltrs
I get around 400+ and that is with the occasional VTEC and driving it pretty hard daily.
DC5R 620km full tank with all bolt ons and kpro, pretty happy what its get.
B18C2 Type R Cams and Springs, plus I/H/E in an EG. I used to get 490 from 40 litres, and then I had to put a quieter muffler on the rear, to quieten the car down, and stop the drone from the straight through exhaust. Now I get about 400, very disappointing, but much easier to live with day to day. Power has also dropped from 125 at the wheels by 10% IMO.
DC4 GSi 410km off a tank.
What does a tank mean?
You fill when the light comes on?
You fill when you can't drive no more?
Could you please be more precise.
I managed 495k's out of my DC2R and the yellow light just went ON with I/H/E tuned at MSC PERFORMANCE in Reservoir with Hondata S300 making 133kw, I think this is pretty good...
The way I do it, I always fill up till I can see the fuel. It never goes over and spills but I always see it.
Reset the km's then drive.
At the next refill, fill up to the same point.
Record km's and liters filled.
Most accurate way.
I get 350k's out of a tank of bp ultimate
too much vtak
lmao fuk man
Lol i only get 400kms out of a 50L tank too. With little to no vtakkkkk
why the fuk do i have such great fuel efficency
prolly byp tune all fuked up
i mad.
I get around 450-500 depending how i drive... I/H/E on 15's 205/50
474 kms and 43 litres went in
90% city driving
9L per 100.
300 km full tank vtec all the way :D
I think the best way to measure your fuel consumption would be to post with Litres per 100kms
Since it is not really defined whether they get x amount of kms a tank from full to completely empty or to the low fuel light.
-Everytime you fill up to full, reset your trip meter.
-Next time you fill up record the amount of Kms (a)
-Record the amount of petrol you have filled (b)
b / a = Liters per Kilometer
Liters per Kilometer * 100 = c Litres per 100 Kilometers
Im getting around 8.9L per 100km
I only get 300-350 with my integra type s 05 and I pour 98 octane... Maybe something's wring with my car?
The B18C7 and ITR 4.7 fd box I run in my EK gets grannied when driving to work and the best I've gotten from 39 litres is 560kms... (Usually about 490 to 520)
A tank of mountain running (38 litres) got me 190kms
Consistently 7.3-7.8L/100KMs.
And I use a 20L jerry can when petrol is cheap so I can hold off until it drops in price again :D
With the b18 I managed 400kms on the way home from when I bought it from Canberra (freeway driving plus abit wot)
With the k20 in it now I get about 300kms give or take. It's actually pretty good when I'm cruising but a very different story when I give it the beans.
