Im pretty sure you can put a beaks bar with the asr brace. Ive seen it on some ek's.
I got oem d brackets and hard race endlinks when i bought the ek9 rsb from yonas.
Gave it a wash since it was a nice hot day.

Redone my guards and removed the shitload of orange peel on my guards and gave it a nice cut and polish using Meguiars Ultimate Compound and Ultimate Polish. Turned out amazing!

Ahh well actually i used spray gun for my colour code and canned my clear (which was a bad idea hence gave shitloads of orange peel but mehh i was really tight on cash back then lol) but if you sand it back and use like appropriate cutting compound and polish, it will give out the same result :)Quote:

Wow looks really good, I would like to learn a few techniques off you! I sprayed my front bumper then sanded it back smoothly, then clear coated it and sanded that back until smooth ( I used like 1500 ). until i installed the K&N FIPK on the car,
honestly, it's gotta be one of the best performance mod i've ever had on any of my car's,

It looks like its just mounted incorrectly.. like you've used the wrong hole for the bolt/screw. But ive never seen an ASR installed without the sway bar???
EK9's rear subframe was reinforced from factory. So the subframe is different to the ek1/4. ASR braces are made for non reinforced subframes, ie ek1-4. It wont fit on an EK9
There no other way to fit it, those pictures are from ek9.org found that site after I bought the bar!
Finally got around to claybar-ing my roof. Also gave it a nice wash and applied another layer of wax. Looks so new!
