new wheels, enkei j-speed 15x7 +25 with 205/50/15
eyyy thanks nam! :)
EY NICE TWINS!! hahahaha!! Same wheels, specs and tyres! :) I was going to get the black ones but i thought its too common so silver is the way to go :D
More pics of fitment, i raised the rears up so it'll reduce the amount of scrub but the front since its not too bad :) Also gave it a good clean for jdmst

nice fitment man, so much for slamming it ay... AHAHHA.. GL with the drive way, i had to resort to raising mine cause i finally caved in with the cat back sitting too low on max lowered ride height :/
With mine sitting on lowest setting on the coilover i only had about 40mm clearance to the floor with the cat back LOL
Im surprised u didnt go 16's, 16's jus look that much better on any coupe :P
ahahaha actually suprisingly since i raised the rears abit up, i could make it up the driveway without scraping my cat that much now (Y) only scraping my lip alot lol. But yeah yours was really low ahaha i think my lowest was about 80mm since it was only abit shorter in length to my galaxy s2 and their like 110mm.
And i was thinking of going 16s but then again you dont get as much variety as you do with 15s, more choices and options if you get what i mean :) And 15s isn't too bad when you see it everyday, you'll grow into them man.
super time consuming

new wheels fitted couple of days ago. need front camber arms to go lower!
Nice man what are they rota grids 15x8s? Did you also roll your guards?
naice kenny
although I dislike rota, they look good on your car
Yea their Grids Classics. Never ended up getting a hand on a set of nice used wheels in the size i wanted so i had to get them new.
16x8 +20 with pumped guards
roll is roll the lip
pump is pumping it after rolling it to "pump the guards out"
lipping is when you bend the lip outwards a bit after rolling
http://sphotos-b.ak.fbcdn.net/hphoto...58196076_n.jpg
can you see how the lip is bent out a bit matty?
without camber kit i would of had to pull the guards about 1-2cms to fit, tyres are too fat :(
Buffer and 6 hours later - swirls, be gone! (Mostly)

was all 4, looked like...

Not really? O.O thats a massive gap, i'm sitting flush on my front unrolled and i only scrub when i do hard turns or go over a bump fast. As for the rears, i'll be getting them rolled tomorrow and going to drop it and see how it goes. I'll let you know, might even have to pump mine, i just wanna avoid a camber kit ><
just roll all four mat, 15x7+25 you wont need anything but dump it or just lower and roll.
roll the fronts before you munch your tyres and guards when going up drive ways, as you will be going on a angle and the suspension will compress therefore making your wheels and guard touch and munch. been there done that on all cars haha

Cusco rear camber arms near new for pretty damn cheap acquired :)
I only rolled the rears Charles, the front i think i lipped it before i sprayed it lol didnt even realise but my front are just tucking and only scrubs when i do hard turns or go over a bump fast. Rears, so far so good, don't know if i want the rears to sit on guards, havent tried it yet, its sitting like '1 finger gap' at the moment.
Heres what the rears look like after rolled

Heres what the fronts look like unrolled

Sits pretty nicely imo.
Who'd you end up hiring to roll your guards, or did you YOLO it and DIY?
Any who..after much deliberation (and hesitation and putting it off) I got my ass down to the local wreckers (for probably the 5th time this month) and helped myself to some front mudflaps. $10 for the pair. That makes it $20 for the whole set front and rear flaps (got the rears first about a few weeks ago off the same car also for $10) Very happy! No idea why I kept putting it off to get them until now, maybe I just wanted the fronts for the sake of completeness. For some reason having just rear flaps on seems half-assed to me..
Nah, their Civic stock is shit. 2 preface sedans and the red facelift hatch which people jumped on and took apart pretty quick. That's all at the moment. I feel like going down again and grabbing spare screws, nuts and random tidbits that might come in handy one day when I begin to take apart and put back together my own car. Parts that people wouldn't really think twice about. But I'll keep a lookout anyways.
Some beautiful work there Will
I put on my roof racks and went to the beach :D
Xmas present from my wifey!!

This was done today. $150 for the spot sprays (including paint)
Tomorrow we are cutting the clear from the whole car and giving it a buff.
Should look like new, will update this thread with photos.

Mixture really depends on what paint you are buying. We used a 2:1 paint:hardener with 10% thinners.
Orange peel can also happened if your compressor is dropping pressure. None the less cut it
Back using 1500 wet and give it it a clear and buff it up.
ah okay then fair enough, cheers for the tip
did a DIY on my headlights yesterday (no progress pics) and got a checkered sports duracon gearknob and some OEM floor mats.

Why aint my car that shinay...
More so how come my ek isn't that mint.
Got dents and scratches everywhere.
Headlight restoration (still a little yellowy)
New rims/tyres (GMax Drift6 - 17x7+43)
Project Kics blue wheel nuts
"Octane" darkest legal tint
Gay-time running lights
Now all it needs is a repray and dint/rust removal; coilovers; front grill and lip. Oh, and power :(

Chucked on some oem em1 tail lights and been playing around with the rear ride height. OEM Clear side markers coming soon =D

Yeah rims are decent sized but fill out nicely. Will see what problems i run into when lowering.
DRLs bought simply to make car more visible during the day. Not Audi style, they are next to the number plate. Wired them up so they turn off when parker/headlights are turned on.
Had some polish lying around which gave the finish a 'wet look', tried it on my headlights and didn't come up too bad

(excuse that thing on the bumper, its just a reflection of something)
So that's how 32 GTR rims look on an ek... I've always wondered.

Nice
where does the engine loom go on the drivers side
currently going where my clutch should be(auto), im considering doing an engine swap soon so not to bothered with the engine harness position, just wanted to get the headlight haarness tucked and look at moving the fuse box to the glove box and the battery to the boot
How do you clean the airbox off a civic?
Sprayed valve cover, turned out pretty good. Look better in direct sunlight. Sorry for messy engine bay i want to learn how to wire tuck properly later.
