I'm pretty sure you have oem and yes you'll need special HID globes. Contact a seller of HIDs from the trader section, they do sell globes only...:)
awesome ! so when 1 of my lights dont work it is as simple as getting new hid bulbs ??

hey guys,
anyone installed the mugen pedals ?? Ive installed the clutch pedal and the brake pedal with ease but the acceleration pedal, does the rubber/plastic cover come off like the brake and clutch pedal ?? I cant take it off :( also do i need to drill holes ??
nvm i finally got the accelerator plaster cover thing off. Basically u gotta pry the top of the plastic cover then slide it off the pedal. Pain the the bloody ass
Hey, mind if I ask where and for how much you purchased the Mugen pedals? I was looking on eBay and found some good prices but some of them looked like copies. If I can get a good price here I might get them soon, otherwise I'll wait till I'm back in Hong Kong. Thanks!
try www.supergt.com.hk cuz aud is quite high atm
Thanks Steve. How would you say the feel compares to the original rubber pedals? Is there an improvement or is it more cosmetic?
Definately better then the stock rubbers. Really grippy and also has a nice finish. The stock pedals look ugly and just didnt go with the car. Im happy i paid 160 for them. I wouldn't pay 300 which i think some people are selling them for. 300 bucks could go towards something else e.g performance mod
steve pics of the new pedals instaled?
cant b bothered taking a photo but they look exactly like these

A question for all you ep3r owners. What is the handling of these cars like with the stock suspension? Would like to hear your thoughts
Hey Steve, did u get a PM from the dude about the window I sent him a PM but no reply?
well they type R is designed as a car u can drive on the street during the week and on the weekend take it straight onto a track with no problem. although it has to compensate for both road (bumpy) and track (smooth) the springs are quite firm for the track yet drives comfortably on the street.
all in all its got great handling setup with a bit of oversteer which is fun in the corners and very sensative steering with little play, take one for a drive and u will understand
the sussy is a bit too bumpy for my liking for street use but it surely handles well.
never tracked the car so i don't know.
for my case, i fail to see the reason to get coilovers other than look.
I bought my car with coils so cant comment much but I did test drive Dianne's facelift ep3 which was pretty good on Sydney roads except for certain parts of Hume highway.. If your planning to lower the Ep3 be warned your b-pipe will cop alot.
mines lowered on skunks and i have no probs, tyres are at the guards

I thought i might share this website for all u ep3 lovers :p
oh and here are my car pix, i just recently lowered it, on fulcrum coilovers :p

I drove a stock 2001 EP3, very impressive ride for the level of firmness and extremely stiff chassis. I should be picking up my 03 EP3 tomorrow that has the Mugen Sport Suspension on it, will let you guys know how it is when I get the car. Initial impression though, is that it might be too stiff for my liking on street whereas the stock suspension felt spot on from my short time with it.
That said, both of my impressions were done on different quality tarmac so its not exactly an apples to apples comparison (in addition to the fact I didn't spend much more than 15 minutes with either car yet).
hey ads if the toda is a killer ill take it off your hands ;)
yeah, for some reason, the B-pipe on mine (the section just before the muffler) seems to be a bigger diameter and hangs low cos of the size.
LOL, Steve, I've done a proper tucking job now. made another 2 custom hanger, modified the pipe a little bit. now is all good, no hitting chassis when doing hard engine braking, and alot higher than original LOL:thumbsup:
i have fujitsubo and i only scrape on those monstrous speed humps
LOL at you peeps :p
Any lowered car with aftermarket exhaust will scrape!

quoted a mugen style cf hood for ep3 from usa seller for around 800aud shipped, good price?
http://www.mvpmotorsports.com/merchant/index.shtml
i email to the seller from the web directly cuz they dont have in the catalog, but cuz they can order anything from the brand SEIBON which makes the hood for ep3, so thats how they can order and heard they are using Fedex cuz they have special price even cheaper than shipped in container.
Well that explains slot cause I do have a busted engine mount. Waitin for the dealer to get the part in still!! Wat time is the meet up?
might aswell go get some aftermarket, alot of people find it much better though there might be abit more vibration but hey, more power to the ground lol
also make sure to change ur gb oil regularly and u should be sweet
i put my Fuji rm01a myself but notice abit of vibration so just took it to carline and they fix that for me
im having that same problem with 2nd gear, change the oil, still notchy at high revs.
Hanny's think its the clutch
So just checking, is this the route your talkin about?
http://maps.google.com.au/maps?f=d&s...0&ie=UTF8&z=17
looks pretty good, doesnt look as twisty/fun as putty rd but not as far either so looks like a good route overall.
BTW i saw an EP3 on the M4 last night about 8ish, was following me
has any got lower arm brace's Front or Rear? dose it make any diff??
im looking at the carbing 6 point front lower arm brace!
