yeah, looks like an overly snug fit. My mate told me its got a smaller cabin than his slk350 (which is quite spacious considering the size of the car).

I'm over 6". BYS seat rail makes world of difference in an s2000 if you're above average height.
I find my legs ache after driving for 30mins+...
Maybe it's the seating position

Maybe you bought a Flintstones car.
do you want the real answer? everyone thinks they're going to be buying a brand new car at anything over 20k. Ap1 is a 10+ year old car. Expect no history, high kms, worn parts, missed service intervals, leaks here n there, etc... everyone wants a brand new car for 20k. pfft. wake up to reality.. you'll buy one with no apparent issues, 2 months later, bang, needs a clutch, needs brakes, TCT gone, CV joint vibrating, n bla bla. so i'd just buy the cheapest one out there for a bargain, that way when something blows, can justify replacing it.
People need to stop spending 25-30k for a 'clean' AP1. We should be buying AP2s for that price. Because AP2s are the newer ones that you'd expect to be clean and to have more value, which insurance companies and redbook shows.
Bought mine for mid 20's and its immaculate. I'd spend that much again knowing it hasn't been in a prang, the kms are genuine and it's been checked out with no issues whatsoever. Even my interior is brand new.
You might have to wait but eventually one comes up at a decent price in excellent condition. You may say I didn't get a bargain but I'd beg to differ. I'd never consider one that's in bad condition just cos it's cheap, not worth the headache IMO. If I didn't find this s that I have now, I'd be driving something else. It just came up for sale at the right time - just after I sold my cv8.
Youre right we should be paying 25-30k for an ap2 but a good ap1 is hard enough to find so its only natural that an ap2 in good nick is worth $40,000 and an immaculate ap1 can fetch high 20's.
i found a "clean ap1", however insuring it is a whore. NRMA and AAMI have an agreed value on it for $16k with a $5000 premium. Just car has a maximum agreed value of $12.5k.
Mine was insured with just car at $23,000. So I don't see how you've been offered such a quote. I'm with Lumley now paying under $1500 and its at an agreed value of I think 25.
Maybe give them a call. Surely it couldn't have dropped 10k in value in the last month. Maybe it has to do with your area or something it's very strange.
