the way you generally tell if a manifold clears is if the turbo port is close to the second exhaust port. Its gotta be at least half-way in the middle to have any chance of /ac, that's what i noticed from my manifold. Even then it's a tight squeeze

Exacery. Turbo exhaust housing (when compressor housing on drivers side) needs to be at least smack bang in the middle of 2 & 3 cylinder runners to give enough room for a down pipe to clear AC compressor.
Also you can also tell if its AC friendly if the turbo flange is on an angle to clear larger frame turbos away from the engine block webbing and bell of the gearbox.

fark thats close nice manifold but and u can fit a 3inch dump to.... thats where mine fails mine can only fit a 2inch i think... though my turbo exhaust wheel is only 2inch but i think it should still b 3
My ram horn performed much better than my current Rev mani. It must have dropped .02 of a second on initial spool but it spooled up quicker and felt it held more power on the higher RPM. I wouldnt mind looking at a top mounted Ram horn style mani where the ram goes under not over and your turbo sits nicely along side your motor and is directly in front of you when you open the hood. Seems alot cleaner install.
Like this setup below, but a really nicely made one something that's not gonna break on me and has alot of support for the turbo so it doesn't crack over time.

I wonder how much a nice one would cost. I could sell my steam pipe one for a bit and get myself one of those.

None of the top makers put extra bracing on thier manifolds to support the weight. Just remember that a 'hollow pipe' is very strong. So taking that, if the material is thick enough and the welder knows what hes doing there will be no problems. Majority of those above provide full backup on thier manifolds too.

yeh plus they r made of steam pipe that helps sooo much those china manifold like mine arent.. it depends on the steel used weather it cracks or not

The ones I listed above are all Stainless Steel.
yeh but there is different grades of stainless steel on the cheap manifolds they use the cheap stainless grade thats y they crack there not designed for exhaust manifolds where things like steam pipe that comes in stainless is designed for these applications
Yeh my current is steam pipe, Very Very strong and ive had no problems yet. A-man give me a month or so to think this threw cos im thinkin about getting a new turbo.. Dropping my gt28rs and getting a gt30 or gt35/40 with high mount and tune it to 22psi or something...ill think it through.
i might take ur turbo to then...
