oh ok...didn't mean to offend anyone...what time did the 999 automotive dc5r run? and as for 12PIN, i would love a comparison...would be very interesting indeed...the more dc5's the merrier ;) afterall, DC5's are the home of the k series engines :D

Congrats on time. Keep it going, drop some more weight and more practice and you'll get even better times.

Pretty certain that the 999 DC5 is registered as a 'street car' but have not seen it on the streets yet personally and yes it is a beast.

Thanks for the comments Slaz. The MPH on the day was increasing per run. I am pretty confident of it ending up around the 111 - 112 mph once more testing carried out. Time did tell ;)

Regarding its speeds it should get quicker and hence my comments of looking forward to seeing it go quicker, though and as i stated earlier, some gearing changes would really make a big difference with the added displacment and torque of the bigger motor though it doesnt come cheap and i dont know how keen Fadi is in running such gearing in his daily drive but having that 6th gear in a K sure does make it alot less annoying then a b series car!

Sounds like Fadi was driving it pretty well so if it does get up there, let us know what changed. ;)

24.5 inch tall will help his gearing down the 1/4 mile

thanks for the nice comments guys....as yonas said, 24.5inch slicks would help with the gearing....i will see what the car can do on these slicks and then upgrade to the 24.5inch slicks in the future :thumbsup:
