Strange.
I seem to recall that Honda FEO mineral 5W-30 was produced using a Castrol base stock with a Honda supplied additive package.
FEO is 10w-30w - typo ?!
So whats the verdict on the FEO Ultra ?
About to change the oil on my newly purchased 98 Accord 3L
Local dealer quoted me..
FEO Ultra Engine oil $33
Drain plug washer $1
Hamp oil filter $$22
Honda ATF $20 per ltr.
$33 for FEO ULTRA???? wtf where
I get charged like $50 for normal feo.
FFFFFFFFFKKKK!
as stated......its what ive "heard" - the coincidence that FEO and FEO ULTRA are manufactured by caltex , and that the same oils rated 10/30w and 5/30w come in as a budget oil at super cheap auto perhaps is just a coincidence.(perhaps surplus stock?)
To the eyes they appear to be the same. Its up to a lab test environment to really tell if they are truly one and the same tho !
I work at supercheap, I don't know if FEO is the same, but Calibre IS made by Caltex, it has the Caltex logo on the back, there is also Calibre Semi and Fully Synthetic available now. But to be honest I'd steer clear of any calibre products except the tools, there's a reason it's all cheap. lolz
Feo ultra has the caltex logo on the lid lol
it says on the back that its pretty much the same as caltex oil but with honda's altered recipe and higher quality control
