I could not believe the tragic news when I heard as I was playing badminton with him on the Sunday. He left early because he was feeling tired.
Very very sad loss.
My deepest condolences to his family and friends.

Your friend Brian , must have been do at least 90kms when he flew past me just before the bend in canterburry rd just before the lights. On approx the apex of the bend he tried to swing into the left hand lane to go around the banked up cars at the lights, lost the rear , slid sideways , hit the kerb and straight into the concrete pole ,,,, drivers door took the full impact ....... not the same or even close to the impact on his family and friends this will have .... I didnt know Brian i just saw him make a split second decission in the last couple of seconds of his life ..... sorry to every one involved
i thought i'd make this account to inform you it was Brian Chiew, i am his cousin, and would like to thank the people that have paid their respect and wishes towards him and his family.

ummmm..... thanks for the detailed details
well there you go, its a stern reminder that our cars cant tend to step out on us if we dont take care in the wet, i really hope this has made an impact on all of us and will decide to slow down in the future.
i was in the same class as his gf when we were in high school....cant imagine how painful it is for her atm to lose a loved one. let this be a reminder of how dangerous it can be on the roads....please take care every one when on the road, expecialli with the wet weather atm

Condolences to his family
I remember that Brian said he loved seeing the S2K's all together for a photoshoot/meet. How would some of you guys like to hold a memorial cruise for him? i am happy to organise time and place although i know that the OzHonda community and myself are still upset about the most previous meet where a cyclist was knocked off his bike due to some hoons that attended. So please let me know all your thoughts
sorry for the loss man
i would love to be apart of the s2000 cruise in memory of brian. may he rest in piece and god bless his family.
