cheers tay.
Hey Tay113, why did you buy the top?? Keeping a spare? It's different from keeping a spare tire. Even if ur top breaks or ripped, the money spent on replacing with your spare, you could just get a glass version and install that with same price. With currency quite good, the cheapest glass window top is probably gonna set you back about $500 more or less without the demister etc. So really you're only a couple hundred out of pocket from ur second hand spare if you ever need to remove and install. There are places here (SA) that would do the conversion - the place i know replaces Ferrari roofs and restores old but high distinction convertible cars. I wouldn't trust Honda dealers doing it, people in there are just apprentices following the Honda manual.
HI buddy,Yes! You are right! Its a sense of security as i saw it keeping as spare. In the back of my mind thinking a bird in hand is worth two in the bush.In event of a slash,i could replace it instantly with stock inhand and moreover i could live with a plastic version.Importantly!i was comfortable with my budget than. What to do?Its all about living experience and no age discrimination.
