for weight issue, i suppose an EG will have similar issue as EG non-vtec are single cam as well and EG itself is very light as well and EGK20A are running so well with a good timing in track.

haha imagine the dynamite on track and the engine falls out :D
I actually heard that the K20A was incredibly light which is why so many people are doing transplants into smaller cars. A K20A won't affect the car's balance as much as a H22A would so they seem to be a really good option. Don't quote me on that though ;)Quote:

Should compare with jazz engine instead... i just feel that jazz is too delicate if u know wat i mean....
Do you think its viable to fit a b16a engine into the jazz instead of a K20A conversion? Would it be more suitable since the eg/ek type civics are similar in size to that of the jazz.
is it K20A ligther than B18C??? (DC5R got 100kg heavier than DC2R)Quote:

also the size of the dc5r is so much bigger than dc2r as well.
I am not sure the engine tho..... but Jazz engine should be the same as EG or EK single cam engine.
Common sensely, the newer the engine the smaller and lighter they are from the precendent ones.... cos of better technology.... especially jazz engine...as well all know, jazz is spacious becos of the small engine that fits in the small engine bay (none other makes win in this category from wat i know)... for for dc5r, they didnt concentrate on the engine size, which is one of the main factors would affect engine weight. this is wat i think without looking at any written facts and info
