yep. Only way to get proper HID high beam is to get bi-xenon where the low/high beam is handled by the same bulb.
itr025 is right... you can get bi-xenon with low and highs produced by the one bulb. The shield on the projector housing is rotated to produce full beam which produces the high beam..
Turning ya HID on and off rapidly will also shorten the life of the bulbs..
