EK

EE was the 4th gen Civics and 2nd gen CRXs in Europe and the UK. Civics came in SOHC, DOHC and DOHC VTEC options while the CRX was DOHC and DOHC VTEC. EM was the VTiR Coupe in the US (Si and SiR in Canada) - just to confuse matters even more ;)

the motor in the Si youve got their is the non vtec Double Cam CRX, Si civic. all VTi's 93+ are 1.6 rated at the 98Kw , the 91-94 CRX Del Sol also got the SOHC Vtec motor untill it was later changed to the B16A.

I have read through the pages and if i made an error please correct me.

The vti has the d16y1 which only produces 96kws. I'd like to see the doco that says 98kws. AUDM

Del Sol is not the term we used in oz. Here we only have CRXs and they come in dohc ZC motors very similar to the d16a8 (for that year anyway).

Dunno about you but I do actually own a JDM EG-5.
Theres a long story behind HOW i own it but lets just say it was a personal import.

even if u personally own a JDM EG5, u should've clarified it instead of using the word "WE" <-- using this word assumes everyone and don't tell me you only talking about yourself.

so in this case, no we don't have JDM models unless if you private import one yourself. Honda Aus never realised any locally.

sorry for the missunderstanding. I was meaning me and the guy with the JDM EF9, as in just us two since our discusion was open to comment but still between us.

Hi dude.. The SI has a D16A8 engine with the output of 96kw. It is NON VTEC engine.. just DOHC.
