Civic Type R arriving here mid 2006 according to this article

I remember skimming thru another article saying it's gonna be released here in oz in July!

As for emailing Honda about information, don't believe them as it's always easier to say "NO" than to say "YES" followed by explanation etc.

Should I be kicking myself for buying an auto 06 Civic Sport for $35k last week?

I rather go for the jdm style sedan civic r than the hatch..the eg and ek models looks much better.I think Honda has gone too futuristic..im having a slight "BAck to the future" culture shock because of the new civic typre-r hatch! its my 2cent opinion though

Well..one thing is for sure..all 2006 civic non type-r model can look forward to more and cheaper aftermarket products to soup up their ride.

if it does look exactly like that, i dont mind getting it still like the hatch more

2 door CTR was designed by Honda UK. The 4 door CTR and the made in Thailand Civics that we are getting now were designed in Japan.

Hey guys, correct me if I am wrong, but the new '06 4 door Civics that are already being sold here in the regular Oz market, the Government departments such as Australia's Department of Transport, Customs and the other relevant departments wouldn't consider bringing in other vehicles of similar shape and size, even though it might have a slight variant.

So, because this 4 door CTR is the same size and shape as to the current '06 Civic's sold here, but a slight variant, it might not be allowed to be sold in the Oz market.
Is this true?
