Nice, can't wait. *crosses fingers*
That diagnostic information unit, how much was it?
hopefully it fits :P
I'd be int.to see how it performs once u get it installed.
have try to prefit it as I dun have the tools to hold the engine mount while removing the engine mount screw, I can say it will fit. It do touch a bit but should be easily fit the problem
saw it today and i want one!! hey Gas(TypeG), since the engine mount has 2 bolts right, you think we can unbolt one at a time and fit the damper mount one side at a time too? if you get what i mean.. in this way I think we dont have to jack up the engine? correct me if im wrong
good news... i think kitbkk made a good suggestion too - i wonder if it's possible to fit it like that?
Hmm, does the engine move when you remove the 2 bolts from the side engine mount?
Thats what we think??
we couldnt take the plastic cover under the engine out (his car got strap belts tied it to other parts as he scraped his car a lot lol) to put a jack underneath it to support. So we didnt installed it today. We actually fitted the bracket(the above one) and it looks like it fits just fine. The clearance between the PS hose and the bracket is around 1-2mm. Then we trial fit the damper and it looks like it will fit too. Wait for typeG to come answer it. He is having a party lol.
We just too scare to do that as while we jacket up the car to replace the header, our jack was bended already and doesnt want anything go wrong before the party so I may wait till we are free to meet up again and do it
but from that we can see, the bracket will fit into our car
will fit hey :P so how much did you get it for?
so the bracket will fit... but what about the damper..
