		verry nice
i hav been contemplating somethin similar (city/beat)+ vtec
but it seemed like a waste of time and its a tight cabin

so u used the d15, thats genius
comaring it to a b seres ud save heaps of weight and so steering would be saved too and power would be more than adeqate
get rid of the auto trans, its heavy and slow
and i think u should keep it N/A , makes more sence in a small car
no lag, better cornering control , less traction issues

wow ur project is cool, has it got jdm wheels??? would be so cool and an ef8 style rear wing would be awsome

 love it

if u get sik of it then sell it to me !!!!,
that would make the sikest runaround
how much is it worth ???

hey if u dont need a certificate dose that mean a b18c in a ZC crx dosent need one either???

		yes~~~
i think sohc vtec is very enough for 650KG City
if use the Dohc vtec ,it will be too much power and hard the control that
 just i think

the more power the beter IMO
 however power = weight
 and weight = bad cornering

 manual is lighter than auto
keeping the weight down at the front is better for corners however frontal weight gives u less wheelspin in straight lines

 have fun with it.

do u have any future mods for it?? ie forced induction, exterior mods etc.

ok, update. Just finished my car, got my self a city manual box as the ef crx box I had does not fit. Not even close. The d series engine is alot better than the b series for the following reasons, 1. lighter-no understeer. 2. Parts are cheaper to work/obtain (ebay usa has a shit load of aftermarkets) 3. It barely fits. Infact its hitting my dam firewall, gonna have to hit it out more. and 4. Im putting out more power than a b18c type r. lol but then again if you work your b series, you could also achieve more power. But that isn't what my post is about,.... to fit the manual box, I did a shitload of mods. Every two minutes I was kicking my self saying why doesn’t this fit!. and where’s the grinder. Example, I got my self a nice y8 block, it had a alloy sump, looks nice and I prefer to use alloy due to the fact that tin sumps when lifted from the bottom block the oil pickup. However the alloy hit the cv joint, so it had to go. Back to the tin sump, which worked great.

Right now im running the engine without vtec or tuning, and its already getting wheel spin., this is going to be interesting.

 Mods.

head been ported and polished, 3 angle seat job, cam s3 crower*,cam gear, aftermarket valve springs (allows more push down) b18c throttle body, pm7 pistons, higher comp 11.5:1, extractors, crome ecu, basically your nice and mean vtec engine,

Already the car is dam quick, :)

 ported headwork
