yeh i just wanted to update you guys that the prob is fixed now, it turned out to be a faulty rad cap. just changed it with my mates civic to see if it would help and bang.. coolant levels were back to normal.
cool easily solved
Overflow sprayed out again on the weekend..
Not much but enough to piss me off
OK
Can it be the pressure type radiator cap?
Or just the Overflow is not big enough for the larger size radiator?
What bigger Overflow bottles with fit on my EG ie Log or ITR?
Cheers
Luke
i dun have a prob and i have same radiator core as you.
I can't see why you would have this issue
Pressure test the system? Did you get it running hot?
Nope temps are still spot on, needle exactly half way just like normal
I'm getting a leak down test at TODA this weekend..
Nothing happend on the tuning day at TODA two weeks ago and Adrian thrashed the shit out of her but the day was no where nere as hot..
Your overflow bottle is bigger to start with?
FWIW - i am running a smaller D15B overflow bottle with my PWR alloy radiator that i use for circuit racing.
did the overflow bottle over fill? or did it just spray everywhere?
