Hi Jace,
Is there a version for the Civic Sport?

Not sure about FD2 when it comes to the Typhoon but there are definitely quite a few CAIs available for the FD2 (Sport) model.
May also wanna check out this old thread; http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/showthr...ghlight=intake
Hey Jace is the K&N Typhoon CAI better than the Injen one??
How are any of those better than the stock Air intake valve that comes with the Honda Civic? Is it just more free flowing and a little more free flowing than a K&N airfilter?
1. Wouldn't know about the Injen one. No way to compare.
2. My understanding is that the pod filter, like any kind of aftermarket intake system is considerably more effective at getting air in, but the trade-off is the fact that it becomes hella more noisy in doing so. Unlike the K&N Panel Filter which had close to zero noticeable improvement, the Typhoon is very noticeable. Even the engine noise at idle is slightly different; but it really only kicks in at around 3000rpm++ and you really feel the difference.
Noisy? It's music! :)
yep correct...it only kicks in around the 3k rpm mark but there are also noticeable low end loss...
No it just means that it won't do anything unless you are holding the accelerator down in such a way that the auto won't shift. It makes alot more sense when you actually drive with it everyday and learn to use it.
I want one for FD2... :(
There are much more products for FD2- just look around :) CAIs perhaps?
This is a short vid of my injen CAI
Ill try to get a better vid since this was difficult to record driving with one hand.
