Integra Type-R k20a2 = 147kw
wtf the z1 puts out more power? how does that make any sense,,
the australian model Type-R got a down-tuned version of the Japanese unit
the australian model Type-S got a much more aggressive exhaust cam and exhaust system - the problem with the type-s isnt the engine - its the weight of the more luxurious interior and softer suspension
the JDM Type-R K20a puts out 160kw
oh, i understand now....
yea, i know abt the engine coding, but just dont know the abbreviation that u guys talking abt here, such as Z1 head......
i know Civic sport is K20Z2.....so, we can put the K20Z1 engine into a Civic sport??
woo, that's COOL!!!!
well you dont really need to swap the whole engine - just the heads - the bottom end would be exactly the same
i dont know what pics you have been looking at but they are exactly the same lol
the chassis on the civic encloses the engine a bit more than the Dc5
not sure on the cost - you would have to call around to see if you can find one
unfortunately all this talk about head swapping doesnt apply to the r18 =[
the R18 is a pretty cool little motor just needs work - like everything else =)
I love the R18. Been driving a H22 now and i prefer the midrange torque it has.. (i know right, a honda with torque!)
