yes some of the plastic trim can to be removed as its a very tight fit to attach the braces and theirs no way u can do it without removing at least some of the plastic trim in the bonnet. The front piece of plastic where the bonnet lock is HAS to be removed. I also removed the sides plastic bits. Then just re attached them once i was done. Yeah i noticed quite a diff ( some of it mite of been in my head :p ) but the ride just seems stiffer or more rigid. And it doesnt look too bad either! With the K&N filters you apply oil to the filter to help prevent dust from getting through. This can APPARENTLY cause problems with the MAF Sensor. As the filter already comes pre-oiled you just need to make sure that when it comes time to re-oil it you dont over do it and you give the oil sufficient time to migrate.
i didnt think k&n has brought one out yet, what size is it? i dont see why it would void ur warranty, i had a k&n on the monaro and holden never said a word. its a higher quality filter that requires less maintenance. dont see the prob with that!Quote:

will it look good by putting white leds on the registration plates instead of the yellowish bulps?
