I need to replace the IACV gaskets on a jap b16a, anyone have any information on the gaskets for me?
U might need to buy some gasket paper and cut one out mate

Did this on the weekend and has eliminated the hunting idle.
I also noted on a b18c the bolts holding the IACV on are good to shove in the coolant hose to stop them leaking. Also having some spare coolant to top up afterwards is a good idea if you are a little slow plugging the hose.
Cheers for this DIY, I just cleaned out my IACV then. The only twist was, my IACV was on the bottom of my throttle body ( 1999 EK1 D16Y4 ). Since it was impossible to get a wrench there, I ended up removing the whole Throttle body assembly and then the IACV. Cleaned both the IACV and the butterfly valve real good, also a bit of the intake manifold with what I could reach. Car is running nice and smoothly now!
