Milad relax dosham.. For argument purpose I shall dyno it soon enough to see the figures. I have said it previously, I am not after extreme power, I want my car to look good, to sound good and to go good. I believe I have accomplished that.

Although adrians car pulled 112kw that doesn't mean yours would pull the same in stock form. I heap of brisbane DC5R owners had a dyno day about 2years ago now and there was up to 7kw difference between stock cars. Not every motor is the same, they way its run in, how it left the factory, what oil your running etc all effect what power your car will put down on a dyno. And on top of that ait temp, humidity, intake temp, dyno settings etc all effect the dyno read out...Quote:

Adrians car i believe makes 13x kw atw with just a CAI and exhaust.
Oh and for old mate who is trying to say that i am trying to justify 500$ for 5 or so kw, i spent 4000$ for cams which gave me a 15kw gain, so 500$ for 5kw is a bargain in comparison... At the end of the day i am happy with my car and the amount of power it is making for the amount of $$$ i have spent. Its a 150kw atw car which can keep up with a STi running 20psi and a s15 with 190kw at the wheels from a rolling start, and with better tyres i will be doing similar times to the GT3's around qld raceway...
TO mod a honda properly in order to make good power it costs a decent amount of money. In saying that it is a lot easier and cheaper to build a 150kw k series than it is 150kw b series. I think that is where your getting mislead, b series and k series are to totally different kettles of fish...
the only correct thing you've said in the thread :)Quote:
