well i had the factory 16" dunlop sp sports and went about 15000km on them and they had at least 80% left when i took them off...
i put on the potenzas (which by the looks of it had about 40% left when i put them on) and they are gone in like under 10000km....
I had Yokohama C-Drives fitted recently when I upgraded to 17 inch rims, and I'm very happy with them. Great grip (over the stock Dunlop 16s), and on a par for noise. They're reasonable over rough roads, but you will feel the shift to the lower profile over pothole-style corrugations.
My car is doing a lot of pitching and darting under braking and heavy acceleration right now, but I'm fairly sure that's down to the wheel alignment rather than the tyres.
I can get 17 inch 225/45/17 for 1100 fitted
hmm that is a pretty good price, thats like 920 a set... whats their wear rating and how are they in the wet?
forgot to update, got quote sport max 850 16" alignment included or 786 adrenalin no alignment included.
haven't change them, still have the old tyres. then i come to think why not i just buy some 17"s that come with rubber, a not so good quality but reasonable looking cost maybe something like 1500?
not sure what to do with the car now might leave it until the tyres worn out and came off itself on freeway.....
Can you live with "not so good" rubber though? I know I couldn't. If I got 17s I'd want great rubber still anyway.
can't remember if this has been suggested, but I think pirelli dragon is a good balance between performance and wear rate. Nick would vouch for this tyre, won't you Nick? :D
they are not so good? didn't know......
