Yes , but please check with the location of the ECU connection - it maybe slightly different or a different location to my EG civic.Quote:

The car is 99 Integra Type R Aus Spec
mine says 22 VTEC pressure valve
any ideas?
you have a problem with your VTEC pressure Valve
from the factory it will be plugged into a rubber holder along with the 3 pin DLC. if the last dude to play with it didnt put it back in there then it couls be floating around.
i have an ef8 with a b16a1.. which i presume is OBD0
so do i still pull out the plug and put in a pin to bridge it but instead check the ecu for a light??
edit: just tested it out... made no difference at all compaired to not being bridged.. engine like flashes once and so does the ecu light when key is turned to on.. i guess it is all fine then
you go by the ecu light for fault codes, like you saw, one quick blink, that means there is nothing in there
i have a da9, i was wondering, how do u reset the ECU after ive done the DIY ECU check?
thanks, im about to go do it, wish me luck lol
i have NO idea where this green thing is u say where the 2 bit wire thing connects to, i searched and i cant find anyhting even romotly close to it.
where is that in a da9, does anyone know? and what colour are the wires for ours?
Thanks,
if my car has one oxygen sensor and is showing code one id it still applicable?
thanks
