It could be that buddyclub have given you 2 different offset wheels. It's a big possibility.
I reckon something about his front hubs are not right, cos his old wheels stick out too
take a wheel off, and post up a photo of the front hub. There has to be something fishy going on.
As above, that is definitely not sitting where a +42 wheel should sit

hey Icegroove and everyone! im the owner of icegrooves old rims (mf10 replicas) to be honest they do stick out abit although i can still lower my car and not have the wheel scrap against the guard. Judging from your picture of your car and old rims from page 5 my front doesnt stick out that much as yours( i still have them tyres on when i bought ur rims) anyways heres a pictures

My car sits pretty high due to previous owner having the car dumped so low on cut springs, having no money i borrowed my friends springs n chucked em on, not fussed about height, its sucha worry free daily drive without having to avoid crap on shitty melbourne roads :), but will get coilovers when the time comes! my next tyres are probably 195/45/r16 or 205/45/r16's! then coilovers.
is the tyres sticking out the same on both sides?

hey..still have got the same problem...when i went to the tyre guys to get rear camber sorted and alignment..they were adament that it stuck out because the offset is wrong. and that the 3mm difference seems to match with how it is sticking out. (my rims are +42).
I think i might just -ve camber the front a bit so it 'tucks' under the guards as a short term solution until i figure it out.
IMHO, I think buddyclub gave you the wrong offset rims. Why not raise it with them, and get them to trail fit another set. If they are wrong, make them give you the correct set you ordered and purchased.
have you tried putting the wheels on another dc2r?
that would tell you whether the problem is the wheels+tyres or perhaps a spacer. altho yu have said that your sure theres no spacer
its not possible for BC to make an error with the offset right ? some massive manufacturing missprint lol
