hey i watched aza there .... his car defs ran smother but as he said with more prac on launching his times will be alot better was the only thing i think that put his time up was launches so good job man cant wait till you got the hang of it and the car is running smooth :P maybe we can try get my stock y8 up against you for a laugh :P
The launch might not have been as bad as you think, 60ft time of 2.2 is well done for a first start dude, remember every .1 of a sec there = .2 at the end.
I really think you need to do something about your tyre choice, but that will come down the track, good stuff for a first effort.
i only did the 2.2 once my other 3 were 2.5, 2.6 and 2.5.... cant even remember how i did the 2.2 :( but if thats the case then theres defantly more sped in the car considering i pulled close times even with 2.5 60ft's haha

ffs take those 20kg per corner rims off lol. Leave the interior but change to smaller rims plz ! Your times (1/4 , 60ft , r/t etc) will greatly improve :)
whats the point in changing the car, that is how i drive it every day and as it sits is how i wanna no wat times it do. no point going ohh it can do a 13.7 but it take sa day to strip interior and change wheels around. i will get some light weigh rims eventually. but for now i'll race on what i got ;) haha believe it or not im not rich i couldnt get new tyres/rims even if i wanted to atm :p

idle problem is getting fixed as we speak, my uncle whos also my mechanic found the problem last night. so that should all be fine. should all be green lights for sat. 10 PSI ftw

U'll love/10-11psi. turbos comes into its efficency range, and pulls alot harder.

i know how to use it now, gets set and put on dyno on tuesday, will finally have some number on 10 psi...
driving around on 8 atm and thats alot funner then 6 haha :)
just fixed intercooler piping leak. instantl gained 1 psi and oost comes on alot more aggressively. but big development..... the boost gauge acturlly DOES work, now that i have a second one i have been able to compare and they do read the same....
SO that means the 14.8 was done on 4 psi not 6.... hmmm interesting.
o well dyno in 2 days time :D

well i have 4 more days with the civic till the new owner picks it up. lol what a year, never worked on a car so much then i have in the 9 months i owned this car. but doing all this engine work and suspension work i have full changed my liking in cars and even though this car goes good for what it is, it doesnt have enough potiential for what i like now. new car should be here soon :) and no its not a honda, but i will continue to be playing with turbos. thanks to everyone who have leant a hand and helped me couldnt have got to where i am now without u. and no i didnt get to run it on the quater at 10 psi, dam shame. o well bring on the new project.
