Hmmm A6 is bigger and the front is different to A4 though (that is why i dont like the A6) but the gadgets inside is awesome!

well put this way, a lot of people modify car not just performance gain. with this exhaust, people go for looks and sounds. i mean this is something is just not for everyone i suppose. some dont mind putting and some will. this is very natural occurace
some people will buy $1800 Louis Vuitton handbag and some wont. Functionality wise it is no different to your say $50 handbag. perhaps a $50 handbag can even carry more stuff (if space is the main reason you are buying a bag)
however as euroR pointed out himself, it doesnt stop him to have the desire to wanting to own one as he likes the sound of the muffler. fair enough it is not a cheap muffler but this is how fujitsubo price it, 111500 yen (about AUS$1500 exluding tax, duty and shipping cost to australia).
surprisingly in terms of sales wise, this exhaust was so popular that it was back order in japan for a while
in regards to gain, most exhaust gain will be above 4000rpm generally just because we talk about honda cars. it doesnt matter if you are driving FN2R, DC2, FD just as honda engine is to perform at high end and save petrol consumption at low end (thats why they created vtec that only use half of the engine at low rpm that consume half of the petrol consumption, and when people say it hit "VTec" thats when it is running at its full capacity)
buddah51au, i am not trying to run you down as you pointed out it is little gain for for $1900 but just sharing another perspective that people do buy exhaust with other factors in mind. if you have nice cars with bodykit, wheels, it just doesnt feel complete without an exhaust with nice tone and good looking if you know what i mean :D
there is another company in japan that make them. mugen make them but the cost is $2735 landed. they are retailed at 180000yen (about $2395 excluding gst, duty and shipping cost)
Denot, the A6 is definitely a step up from the A4 & as you say it has all the gadgets which is fine while there working. When you run into problems you will need a Bank Vault to fix it & believe me, Audi's have more than their share of problems.
As for the C200.......no no no no, you need to go to at least the V6 in either petrol or preferably diesel.
You could also look at a BMW 6 cyl which would be my choice in the class of cars you mentioned, once again their Diesel gets rave reviews.
I agree with your comments & the system sounds great. I also know & understand we need to pay for quality. Realistically, my comments were based on every day driving where very few of us would venture beyond 4000RPM, & then it would only be for very brief periods of time.
sigh, denot, your car will be remembered gratefully.
such a nice car, and now it's gonna belong to someone else...
I sure wish i had your grill. haha.
Just wanna show my car and does anyone know where can I find Aero bonnet for CU2 in Melbourne ?
