is this the same for us in Vic for engineering a new or diff motor to a car?
"as long as its from the same age or newer chassis , and is within 15 % capacity increase there is NO need to get it engineered. You only need to re assign the new engine number to your car , with an "adjustment of records" from the RTA. $32 or so.

i bought an ebay chip for my b18 many years ago.. It didn't do much but disable my rev limit and allowed me to rev the **** off it.. If i can be bothered ill post some vids one day..
