Which brand did u change it to? I was looking at the magnaflow ones. Not sure if they are smaller than our FD2s

I'm afraid that removing the resonator will make it sound 'raspy'. This happened on my CD5.
Do you guys get that problem? Or is it just a loud deep note.
Down the track I might get an aftermarket resonator rather than a straight pipe depending on your feedback.
I'll do a video clip over the weekend but basically this is how it sounds:

Same car, same muffler (but mine's fitter straighter LOL)
While cruising though it's barely audible in the cabin, but you can tell theres a deeper, smoother exhaust note flowing from your rear now. It's awesome.
Can you hear it on open throttle?
Worthwhile getting muffler only?
I mean it's actually pretty audible driving with windows up and music blaring, but just not as loud as it is on any other car. It's worth getting the muffler alone just for performance gain. Less backpressure = more power (please no debates on this as you know I'm right!)

What is it?
ohh how much are magnaflow twin exhausts?
I got mine for $385 installed on my current CD5.
However I have bought them from the states for $280 brand new.
My first ever one was off this forum for $60 which was a straight bolt-on for my first CD5. Rock on!
I also had one on my Audi which I got from Firesport for $120.
(So I've had 3x 14815 and 1x 14816)
Just made a video of the exhaust with my iphone. It's pretty crappy because of the 4k rev limiter...
post it up!
