you can maybe get a vague comparison between the two units. I realise that they're different cars, in different conditions, on different dynos, and are each accordingly showing different peak power outputs.
What you can roughly compare, however, is the increase over the stock run:
K&N gives a total rise of 7.69 hp, whereas the Injen gives a rise of 11.1 hp.
That's if I'm reading things right.
In the real world, that's bugger all. Unfortunately, the K&N doesn't give a torque reading, which would give a better idea.
The Comptech icebox (http://www.comptechusa.com/store/tsxdyno.html) gives a peak increase of 5.6 hp.
These are just the peaks -- no indication of of increases in the rest of the range...
Hi guys,
A bit of an intro, name is James, driving a 04 manual lux euro with gunmetal 18s. Never thought I would mod this car (Nissan S15 was my previous ride) until a month back when I 'think' I heard an euro with a pod.
I've just started to look at mods for the euro (springs, intake, grill and maybe full exhaust) and was wondering for the Injen intake,
1. Can I buy and use the "INJEN Cold Air Intake 04-05 Acura TSX" or is there a different model for our aussie spec?
2. Will the kit include the optional pipes to go either SRI or CAI?
Thanks in advance for your help, cheers!
James
1. Yeah its a direct fitQuote:

Thanks Sulley,
And I guess the cheapest place to be buying is ebay?
