I use 1/2".
I dont have all these extra tools that every one says lol. And as VinnY said, i got a new one so dont care about the old.
And if you want to help me destrukshn ill go to Sydney tomorrow :D. I have to go there tomorrow or friday to pick stuff up anyway lol. Saves going to a mechanic or something ,,,

Take it to a mechanic
Get him to weld a bar onto the nut and get it off that way if the head is completely ****ed
Its not that bad, my socket still goes on it, and sits there without slipping, its just that doesnt matter how hard i hit/tug on the end, it WILL not move.
They probably dont need to go as far as weling a bar on, but yer...
When looking up are you trying to turn it clockwise or anti clockwise?
the car is raised when you do it right? so you get more leverage?
