Pulled interior out (everything but the dash) and cleaned it. Whilst there I re wired the stereo and front and rear speakers (shout out to those who helped me on FB when problems arose). Was my first time installing but nothing blew up when I turned it on so should be good, lol. Got a few things here and there left to do before a blue slip next week. Hopefully nothing else pops up. Every time I fix one thing I find another, lol.

Nice, I also got some ls recaros from a proton gti, mine aren't as clean as yours so im re trimming them one at a time, this is my spare drivers seat while I do that
http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a2...ps4354fd6c.jpg
Great seats for a daily.
Your hatch looks great btw, great seeing ed's getting appreciated
This is my new account lol
Thanks man but nah mine need a retrim as well but I'll do that later on, there's a couple of cig burns on both, didn't know they came out of a proton, got these from a wreckers covered in a few years worth of dust lol.
Did u buy new mounts or customise the existing ones?
Just used the stock rails, 88 wagon seats mount from the bottom and are equal height so it's a 15min redrill and bolt up to match with bottom mount recaro seats.
Yeah these particular ones are factory proton satria gti seats, you can tell by the material choice. The centers are good and well done but the material they used on the side bolsters is cheap, I'd recommend re trimming the sides even if they seem ok.
Oh nice man didn't know the wagon rails fitted easier, I ended up making a bracket to fit the existing rails lol looks stock though
Yeah I plan too, I need to get a side plastic cover too as I'm missing one
anyone got a ed6/ef9 for sale by any chance thanks
There's this in brisbane

how much izzit?
that must fly with h2b
h series gammin
Was on the hwy from syd to act today, and this little Asian bloke in this black and red crx flew past, then slowed down to my speed (the limit + 5km)
He then decided to put clutch in and redline constantly and kept motioning me to roll my window down
So as I did, he kept screaming "hay dua! Dua toi!!" (race me/let's race in viet)
So as I shifted down from 5th to 3rd, I heard what might of been him shifting to first car and saw him roll back so damn quick and smoke coming out from his bonnet.
I just drove off lol

I want to upgrade my brake booster and master cylinder, any recommendations?
What discs are you going to be using?
These fit 262mm
I'd assume that an EG/ITR BB and BMC would fit an ED given that it fits an AH with a lil work.
Ok cool, I do recall reading somewhere the 90-92 integra is like a straight fit but I'm not 100% sure on that and can't find the post lol
All Honda's are interchangeable pretty much, same bolt pattern so yes the 90-920 will fit.
if you want a 1 inch master cylinder & booster it's a very tight fit and requires you to shave the booster a tad...
Is a mini brake disc swap just for the front or is it front / rear?
This was posted up on CRX Aus from here.

Hey guys,
I stumbled upon some build threads on various froums stating there is a cheaper way to upgrade to 280mm brakes. I have put together a parts list for the conversion below.
This conversion requires no rotor spacers or caliper bracket machining. It also does not require re-drilling brake rotors to 4x100!!!
This only works if you are currently running stock 262mm knuckles. If you have 242mm ones you will need to upgrade to 262mm ones first. This will work on any ED/EF/EG/EK/DC.
1. 262mm kunckles.
2. Bendix DB1206 pads or any of your choice as long as they are the same design.
3. 17CL15VN calipers and matching brackets.
4. DBA2526 or RDA7996 rotors, these numbers are for blank rotors.
5. 1 inch master cylinder with matching booster.
The rotors are from a 2007+ Mini Cooper non-S. They are 280mm in diameter, 4x100 and have the same centre bore! The lug nut holes are a little bigger but this wont effect anything. These fit perfect without issues, no modification required all bolt on!!!
The required calipers can be found on Accord V6's, Type R's, Odessy's, Legned's & Prelude's. Don't be fooled by paying top dollar for ones that came from a Type R, they're all exactly the same. You can pick them up for $50 the pair.
I paid $132 for the RDA rotors from my local parts store. you would normally pay $190-210 for the RDA 282mm blank rotors redrilled to 4x100 + $40-50 for the spacer or caliper machining. That's a saving of over $100!
I am currently doing this conversion and will post some pictures once completed. I have purchased the rotors and confirmed that they do fit without any issues.
Rear brakes installed!

I stripped the interior chassis loom of all the speaker, power window power mirror central locking wires. all thats left are the brake lights, fuel pump and ABS wires.
Hey hondapop,
Yes track day car only have stripped all interior out and slowly working my way through, would like to be in a position to World Time Attack it one day but time will tell. Need to sell off more interior parts to fund the small stuff needed to get to a track day.
Attachment 28212Attachment 28209Attachment 28210Hi Wheytastic,
Currently have the STD B16a but this will change over time, B18 then K Swap on the plans, have to tread carefully as the wife will S##t a chicken if she finds out the cost of a Kswap, I was planning to cage the car before i do a track day but am to keen to have a go so am expressing the build and will run with out a cage first up. I am an old bloke and havn't driven on the track since the late 70's, son has been havin all the fun (at my expense mind you). But this is long term so no hurry.
Oh snap really nice Em1 man, first car I bought was an em1, awesome car for a project.
Too bad your in the wrong thread haha 88-91 civic and crxs in this one
Either way hope it goes well especially your first track day
Thanks mate,
I am wanting to do a build thread but still can't get on it have to serve the rookie period i guess, but its a 1999 model so this thread will do for a while. Going to do the track day with Circuit Club

I'm looking into getting a '91 ED GL for my first car. Any ideas on what I should first do to it if I get it? Keep in mind I'm on my Vic P's.
Rear interior was faded and had and uncared for when I got it, wasn't even installed was all over the boot... so I finally cleaned it up and gave it a coat of vinyl gloss black
