If you're not sure what your rep was for, then its in our best interest to double check for you.
FYI - in case you didnt know - you can check what post has been repped etc by clicking on your User CP.
Ive tried heaps too.. although never been rep pointed ...i have given useful information in peoples post and their questions.. been a member for about 1 year + now...
You've made 48 registered tech posts in the last 1 and abit yrs.
Not even an average of 1 post per wk O.o
you received rep from "trism" for this post -
http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/showpos...40&postcount=1
This was not warranted , rep is to be only given for technical inquiries or links/help only.
You are a newcomer again , trsim has been infracted for misusing the rep system.
thats kind of a harsh infraction isnt it?
just give him a warning
unless he had done it previously
but that just sounds abit harsh
exactly. I could of banned him by default but chose to issue a warning instead. He , amoungst every member and newcomer here should know better.
All rules are clearly written out for you and others to view. Anything that isnt obvious or any questions you can post in the relevant threads , such as this one.

By helpful we mean helpful to the thread starter or other users having questions relating to their Honda motor vehicle. It is not to be used for posts informing others how to use this website and/or its rules.
I'm not trying to stir things up here. But after reading through what's everyone's opinion about rep points here at OH, I realised that getting rep points here is getting harder these days.
*bennjamin edit no free plugs for rep.
And ppl are just nasty with giving rep points to the poster because they think that it is not useful for themself.
However, I still don't deny the fact that some members are really nice in giving rep points when they receive help from us as newcomers.
Just throwing my 2 cents worth. Please don't flame me...... :)
The only downfall on the system is the fact that unknowledgeable people struggle to become a member even if they are a dedicated honda enthusiast and a frequent member of this forum. Is the only way to become a member still to register PQ points?
I think there should be ways for the unknowledgeable to somehow prove their worth and become a member so they can be a part of the rest of the site which the "newcomers" cannot access.
Just throwing out an opinion as it seems to constanly pop up how hard it is for certain people who really try to become a member... They end up trying to help with something they are unfamiliar with just in order to attempt to gain PQ points.
