haha wow only civ sport have that option.. even my old ass 93 starlet gt had the INT option for the wipers
what do vti/vti-l have?
don't all cars come with variable windscreen wipers?
we have nothing!
lightweight
hahahahhahaa
true dat
variable windscreen wipers?? oh come on
anyone replaced rotors on their car? if so what brand etc?
here you go fellas... been meaning to post this up.. the BEAKS rear tie-bar
the blue metal on the left & right-hand side is the cusco RSB
http://i358.photobucket.com/albums/o...1/R0010948.jpg
http://i358.photobucket.com/albums/o...1/R0010949.jpg
just install it this arvo.. took around 20 minutes to do.. definitely need a power drill and 2 jacks for this install
what is a tie-bar for? same as RSB, FSB?
rear tie-bar is kinda like a strut brace.. except its on the underside, improve chassis stiffness
RSB improves handling performance
but overall, i just wanna get some bling.. hehe
is it visible from behind past ur type r diffuser? looks like u may hav to look underneath the actual car to see it.
u can see it, if someone is driving behind me from a distance, but not up close
and yeh, definitely gotta looks down to see it.. also mention the car is lowered, but not too low where risk rippin the beaks off
im lowered with a mugen kit, and its the same deal, from afar u can see the beaks bar, but the closer they come the less visible it is

hawttt
damn i really want one now! looking good guys
whered you get your bars from?
think jdm yard sells it
ah cool
but on second look
it looks abit silly lol
because its so short
the EG and DC2 ones were teh hawtness cause they stretched across almost the whole rear
but still nice (Y)
has the cusco rear strut bar caused any problems with your undercarriage yet? really need to purchase a rsb soon.
remember how when you was considering buying it a while ago.. there was some talk about sub frames cracking etc.. because it was too stiff or something??
thats what I want to know aswell.. or maybe go for the ultraracing rsb which is 19mm compared to cuscos 22mm..
where can you buy this??
its DMX FD with mugen footrest?
http://i171.photobucket.com/albums/u...DMX/oz/int.jpg
and this..
brake cooling slate
http://i171.photobucket.com/albums/u...olingslats.jpg
i think i better do it to.
lawl, some guy wanted me to direct swap him his fn2r rims for my work cr kai when i had them for sale... like gtfo
Here's what i got guys!
http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p...s/IMG_4633.jpg
Will get them installed. Eventually
^^ nice
curtis....i just noticed the footrest shape...is it the same as the rubber stock footrest??..will it cover the whole part of the stock footrest?
won't fit. it's for RHD models. I'm considering selling it to someone from the US, or doin a ghetto job and cutting it myself..
^^ work vr ts1s
^^ wonder what size?
damm thats a nice kit too!!! nice FD!!!!
after i got the plasitc ripped from my front guards the front left has a ****ing annoying rattle. gotta take it back to the place (free of course) cause i cant see anything (not that ive looked too hard)
what excperinces with rattles/noises with your FD's??
cheers
anyone know what size the fd rotors are? 300mm?
Stock 282mm
mugen kit?
fark im lovin the FD right now
yes mugen kit :)
so sexyyyyyyyyy
yeah its around there
your's auto right?
08?
to be honest, i really dont know yet coz ive got on tanabe coilovers and cusco RSB and i definitely feel improvements in ride and handling performance so its hard to tell if the rear tie-bar does much.. lol
havent pushed the car on the streets, will do so at the track with all my current mods
um yeah. quick update on that spring noise issue with the coilovers. got my car taken into the shop this morning. the guys reinstalled the front struts and made sure everything was tight. also made sure they were sufficiently lubricated.
seems to have done the job thus far. no more spring noises or creaks
did u get urs resolved, tim?
yes i did with WD40!
hahahahaha
all good now
got the cusco RSB from JDMYard, u'll can also source it from JDMConcept.. i'll PM u the price
http://i358.photobucket.com/albums/o...1/R0010949.jpg
see the blue metal on either side on the lower arm bars, thats where the rear sway bar is, comes with reinforcements to hold the 23mm bar
That's some strong-ass weed. it's cracked the concrete!
lol.. i actually had to pull out the weed plant to get a decent photo shot
i reckon once F7 make a LCA for fd's and asr makes one as awell.. then you should grab them johnyy then your undercarrage will look boss.
Hey fellas
Check this vid out, and carefully look at 0.19s
Hilarious

Dealer-ruined car.
ganj3's old car - traded his old FD in. Dealer gave it rims and a spoiler.
http://www.carsales.com.au/all-cars/...02008&trecs=10
so the dealer added on spoiler and wheels before putting it back no sale hey .. what wheels did the guy give to the dealer?
got a set of dc5s rims for my stockies :)
pretty sure someone posted their fd1 with them
http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/showpos...&postcount=758
lol i dont have tyres mounted on mine yet, just rims only, im kinda anal so im gonna get the gutter rashes out of the rims, they arent noticeable, just that im anal haha
traitor =[
hey guys,
I have been speed reading thrg from page 1 to 480 and still could not find out whether if we could change the stock pedals...
problem is i realise the accelerator is hinged on to the floor board on its bottom unlike the clutch and break pedal which is hinged on top.
I m not used to the accelerator hinged this way and hence i always over rev my car...i m pretty sure the pedals can be changed rite?
cheers!
wow u read 480 pages... that must have taken sometime :p
i replaced my brake pedal but not sure about the acc pedal. the acc pedal of the FD2R or Mugen pedals that u can buy is only to go over the OEM, it is screwed on. the brake and clutch pedals u can just remove the rubber and replace them. the foot rest is just screwed on to the OEM as well
.....unless i'm doing it all wrong lol
i think what he means is that he wants to change the whole unit to the drop from the top kind of thing
i dont think u can do that
our acc pedals are like euros anyway
hahahahahahha
gota get used to it matey
hahaha..that is correct mate...i m totally not used to it man...my previous ride was manual as well but the acc pedal was hinged on the top so i had no issues at all...
i cant changed it to another type coz i saw some pretty sweet momo pedals on ebay....
thanx for the input guys
hey guys how is everyone long time no post etc etc lol
i know there was talk of it earlier in the year. has anyone found out if you can swap a k20 or k24 into a R18 FD1 yet? very interested atm
oo and still trying to find a mugen style lip kit.. where you guys been buying from?
cheers guys
