i've got more positive "points" then i do negative so why havent i got membership status? lol

I've been registered on ozhonda for two years now and I am still not a member. I do contribute and try to help other members to the best of my ability. Anyway, I sometimes come across post by members who obviously have a very poor grasp of english. How the hell do these people attain member status when they cant even communicate properly?

Then perhaps your knowledge is inadequate? Poor english has nothing to do with it, if you can provide useful advice, then you will earn a PQ in due time.

May be that's true but there's been numerous occasions where I've answered there query and then nothing. I find alot of people just look for quick answers on the forum and don't give a shit after their question has been answered.

Yeah i feel that too, IMO there's not enough recognition for the 'goodstuff' that goes on.

But i think a lot of the time, things have already been covered, so i don't know whether or not to expect anything.

I've got positive rep from other users only problem is they arnt members either.. all new commers needing help -.- system is homo.

Whats the point of a newcomer being able to give out points? They are an unknown quantity. Once they prove themselves, then you and they can give out points. Just keep trying and you will get points. :thumbsup:

when you make a good post send the link to a friend and ask them to rep you

But if you know and befriend a member then you could influence them which I reckon happens quite often.
